Burgundian winemaker, Jean-Nicolas Méo and music entrepreneur Jay Boberg bonded over their mutual love for Pinot Noir and the desire to create something lasting together. Their 3-decade friendship has led them to North Willamette Valley where they started Nicolas-Jay wines. Years of working the soils of Burgundy’s Grand Crus and their understanding of old-vine sites in Oregon have informed their viticulture and winemaking. They approach winemaking with true craftsmanship with deep respect for the land and the desire to preserve the natural elegance of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Their wines are sustainably dry-farmed and 100% organic, Bio-dynamic which allows them to produce beautiful, high-quality wines.
